My sketchbook is always with me. Rather than using a camera, I use it to record my impressions as I travel—capturing the memories, scenes, and emotions of the places I visit. Sketching allows me to convey far more than simple documentation; it helps me preserve the atmosphere, mood, and unique character of a place in a way that a photograph cannot.

I find inspiration everywhere: in sweeping landscapes, urban streetscapes, architectural forms, and the people I encounter along the way. These sketches become a visual diary of my experiences and serve as the foundation for my studio work, where I translate these observations and impressions into pastel paintings.
